
Sundara (सुन्दर) is a Sanskrit term meaning beautiful, lovely, noble, right.
With Sundara Yoga, Vari offers practices rooted in a holistic understanding of body-mind-soul and in Samkhya philosophy: traditional Hatha yoga, Yin yoga, Yoga Nidra and Kirtan. As Dance Movement Therapy practitioner she also facilitates ecstatic dance and authentic movement practices.
Vari has been involved on Yoga Teacher Training courses in New Zealand from 2019 to 2022, completed over 600 hours of training herself, and over 1000 teaching hours. She is a qualified Dance Movement Therapy practitioner and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Primary Education. Vari draws on the traditional wisdom from the Bihar School of Yoga, India, from modern anatomical insights and her own experience.
